This
versatile, economical process creates durable, seamless, hollow
parts, regardless of their size or complexity.
We begin rotationally molding a product by placing a quality
mold (or several together) into a custom molding machine that
has separate loading, heating and cooling areas that carefully
control each phase of the process.
The machine rotates the molds slowly through both the vertical
and horizontal axis allowing pre-measured amounts of resin to
heat and evenly coat the interiors of the rotational molds.
The stress-free force of gravity distributes the melted resin
and allows for the use of economical tooling and custom molds
that are nearly unlimited in shape and size. The regular rotation
and even cooling also create a custom molded component with
uniformly thick walls, from 1/8" to over ½", and strong and
nearly stress free corners.
Rotational molding is a dependable, economical alternative to
metal fabrication, fiberglass, wood and other plastic processes.
